Behind the Sparkle: A Peek into a Big Week at TIC
This week was a whirlwind of the best kind. The kind where you look around at the end of it and think, “Wait… did that really just happen?”
First came our interview on Sunny TV — a local web-based show that gave us space to share why this brand matters. I talked about why I started The Inheritance Collective, how I choose the pieces, and what it feels like to create something that’s not just about jewelry but about permission. Permission to claim beauty, power, and a sense of belonging in your own skin.
On the heels of that awesome experience, I gathered with a group of incredible women for an evening of dress-up, laughter, and sparkle. We slipped into vintage-inspired black dresses and suits, adorned ourselves in pieces from The Inheritance Collective, and let the cameras roll. It wasn’t just a photo shoot. It felt like a celebration of sisterhood, story, and legacy. The jewelry was beautiful, yes, but what made it glow was us. Our joy. Our laughter. Our shared sense that we are allowed to shine.
It was a week of sparkle, visibility, and growth - and speaking of growth: we’re just about to hit 1,000 followers on Instagram! That may sound small in internet terms, but to me? It’s a thousand hearts that have found this little sacred corner we’re carving out. A thousand people saying “Yes — I see the beauty here.”
And we’re just getting started.
We’re planning our next drop now. We’ll have more one-of-a-kind vintage and heirloom pieces coming soon. I’m also dreaming up a special giveaway to celebrate the 1K milestone, so if you’re not already following us, now’s the time to join the journey and share with someone you think will love it, too.
We’ve got a few in-person market dates brewing behind the scenes, too - the kind where you get to try things on, feel the weight of a stone, and maybe even find the piece that’s been waiting just for you.
Now that this whirlwind week has calmed down and it’s a Saturday night where I’m flat out refusing to leave my bed, I’m able to reflect on how emotional jewelry really is. This week alone, I complimented a woman on her beautiful gold cigar band ring - and she told me it was her mother’s. She inherited it and wears it in remembrance. My friend Elizabeth shared a story about a pendant her grandfather had custom made for her grandmother, so she could keep baby Elizabeth close to her heart. Now Elizabeth wears it herself, while treasuring the handwritten note he gave her grandmother along with the pendant. And just last week at a market, a woman cried as she purchased the Bloodline Sigil ruby earrings. She said they remind her of a love she’ll never forget. I hugged her as she cried. Because I felt it, too.
Jewelry carries stories. It holds memory. It speaks love, legacy, grief, and triumph without saying a word.
I want to keep hearing these stories. I need to.
So if you have a piece with a history - whether it’s something you bought yourself, inherited, or were given at a turning point in life, I would be honored to hear about it. Reach out. Send a message. Or post a photo and tag @the_inheritance_collective so we can see the beautiful treasures being kept safe and worn with pride all over the world.
Maybe we’ll even start a little campaign - a space to gather and celebrate these stories together. Jewelry as testimony. Adornment as remembrance.
Thank you for being here. Truly. For cheering this dream into reality. And for reminding me that what we’re building matters.
With love,
Anna ❤️💫
