I started The Inheritance Collective with a simple belief: jewelry should mean something.

It's not valuable only when it is passed down - it's valuable because it speaks to you personally. Something in you recognized it. It felt like yours the moment you put it on.

I’ve always been drawn to pieces that carry something deeper - gold with weight, stones with presence and energy, things that feel like they’ve lived a life before finding you but they have been meant for you all along.

I’m Anna McElhenny - founder, collector, and someone whose sense of style was shaped over time, across places that know good jewelry. I’ve lived on both coasts of the U.S. and in Germany and spent years wandering through markets and boutiques across Europe - from the street stalls of Nice, where my family is from, to the quiet corners of London and lakeside summers near Como. Somewhere along the way, I learned to recognize pieces that hold their own.

The Inheritance Collective was born as a space for women who give themselves permission. Permission to collect what they love and to wear pieces that feel like an extension of who they are, not just something they put on.

Every piece in The Inheritance Collective is chosen that way.

Some are meant to stay with you for a lifetime. Others are meant to move with you through the rhythm of your days.

The Legacy Line includes fine jewelry selected for its permanence. Solid gold, natural stones, and pieces with weight - emotionally and materially. These are the pieces you build around, keep close, and eventually pass on as heirlooms.

The Living Line is where jewelry becomes part of your everyday life. Vintage, expressive pieces chosen for their character, their wearability, and the way they integrate into how you live right now. You’ll find gold-filled, gold-plated, vermeil, sterling, and beautifully made costume jewelry from design masters and houses like Trifari, Weiss, Napier, YSL, Chanel, and Dior.

Both are collected with the same eye. The difference is simply how they live with you.

Sometimes the pieces are sourced in person, sometimes from international auction houses, and sometimes through my network of other jewelry lovers keeping a keen eye out for pieces they know will make me swoon. My pieces are curated for their story, their presence, and how they feel as much as how they look.

I don’t believe we have to wait to be remembered to live like we matter.

After all, you’re not just wearing jewelry - you’re wearing your legacy.
