The Temple Door Cuff

A signed Ben-Amun hinged statement cuff with the presence of something excavated from a very glamorous dream.

This piece has a wide brass-tone body with engraved Egyptian-inspired detailing, bands of vivid pink, coral, turquoise, and green inlay, and a large green cabochon at the center. It has that unmistakable Ben-Amun feeling: sculptural, dramatic, a little ancient, a little 1980s art collector, and completely unafraid to take up space.

The metal shows patina and age, which I think gives the piece its soul. It feels less like a bracelet trying to look new and more like a small relic with excellent taste.
