Late Bloom Rose Brooch, Signed C.R. Co. 12K Gold Filled

One white rose, still blooming after the rest of the garden has called it a season. It sits inside an open gold circle with two brushed leaves and a curl of vine, the way someone would press a flower between the pages of a favorite book.

It's signed C.R. Co. for Charles Reis Company, who made these sweet gold-filled circle pins back in the '50s and '60s. I wore it on my bag scarf, but it's just as good on a coat lapel or pinned right at the collar of a white shirt.
