Monet Curb Link Bracelet
Monet Curb Link Bracelet
Heavy curb links, each face cut with fine diagonal striations so the light breaks up across it instead of glaring off it. A plain shape done carefully, which is the entire Monet argument.
Two brothers started the company in Providence in 1927 making gold plated monograms for handbags. Then the market crashed, they moved into jewelry, and by 1937 they were running full page ads in Vogue. Monet is also the house that invented the friction ear clip, the one that replaced the screw back, which is to say they are partly responsible for a lot of women's earlobes surviving the twentieth century.
That practicality shows up right here. Thick plating. A safety chain, because they assumed you would wear it hard enough to need one. The little Monet tag still hanging off the end of it.
Wear it alone, or stack it with everything else you own.
