Summertime Gelato Necklace

Thirty-some tumbled stones, graduated from small at the nape to nearly robin’s-egg sized at the center. Pink, lavender, cornflower, peach, cream and pale green, all hand knotted on mauve silk.

Then there’s the odd one out. Right at center front sits a grey-brown stone with rust-colored inclusions, deliberately different and placed where you can’t miss it.

Collar length, substantial, and colorful enough to do the work on its own. White shirt, plain tee, slip dress. Done.
