The Ivy Locket, R.B. MacDonald Little Beatrice

An Edwardian locket from around 1903, engraved with trailing ivy and little star flowers, each blossom holding a tiny paste stone that still catches the light more than a century later.

Inside is the maker's bee mark from R.B. MacDonald & Co.'s "Little Beatrice" line, and two photo wells waiting for whoever you decide belongs there. To the Edwardians, ivy meant faithfulness, the kind that holds on.
